Happy Australia Day, Caravan Ray 01/26/13

Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

...and everyone else too. It's still the 25th here in the US, but I know it's the 26th there in OZ.

it's Australian for beee-yah, m8. :P

QOTD: What's your favorite person, place or thing from down unduh?
I have to admit, the Bundaberg is my fav rum I've ever had. Unfortunately it's very hard to get in the states and has to be brought in from Canada. So my specialty liquor store guy soaks me for around 60 bux for a 1.125L. and only gets it about 3 times a year. There is some import legality.

Also, my favorite surfers and bands through the years are Aussies.

And let's face it, kangaroos? Is there anything cooler? They're like hopping deer with pouches, for garsh sakes.

Happy Invasion and Genocide Day (we changed the name)

If you like Bundy Rum - better stock up.

Bundaberg now looks like this :

And I spent Australia Day long weekend in typically Aussie way - no, I didn't wrap a flag around myself and tell foreigners to "fuck off" (I left that to my more enlightened country men) - I got caught behind flood waters and couldn't get home.

The amusing this is that only a week or so ago I wrote:

Well yes. I am not burning like my countrymen down south. I am underwater.

I think this is this climate change I keep blathering about. I am not as silly as you thought I was.

You're either in a drought or flooded. Just do like the republicans and blame Obama. :P
