FAWM 2013

Post by Niveous »

It's FAWM time. Usually every year, I'm songwriter on Berkeley Social Scene's FAWM efforts but BSS are taking this year off, so I'm going it alone (as long as my sore throat today doesn't end up being something ridiculous).

Who else is taking on FAWM this year?

Yeah, ninth time out. It's very weird being on the very last page of the chronological list of users!

I have been battling through a little creative apathy period, but I have written the lyric of my first song this morning, so I am at least on track at this point.

I wasn't planning on doing this, but I did do an instrumental track for the city inspiration (week 1 challenge), a Chinese sounding track as I wanted to experiment with this scale and some gong samples.

I'm working on it. I have 4 songs recorded and a couple more in progress.
Trying also to set up a couple of collaborations as I feel a little stalled right now.
