Hi, my name is William and I am new to the site. I was soooooooo looking forward to entering the new fight coming. I wrote the song and everything and my pathetic back went out on me before I could record it. Now I am laid up and am not able to do it...I was planning on giving you all a run for your money but now I will just have to watch you all battle it out. Woe Is Me!, Woe Is Me!, Anyone got a tissue?
A good % of people that think they are songwriters are not songwriters at all, they are confused poets. The difference between writing song lyrics and writing poetry is 3 lengths of a fool. If you don't believe me lay down and measure it sometime.
Ken's Super Duper Band 'n Stuff - Berkeley Social Scene - Tiny Robots - Seamus Collective - Semolina Pilchards - Cutie Pies - Explino! - Bravo Bros. - 2 from 14 - and more!

THE WILLIAM LANE SONG
by Paul McCartney
William Lane
His back is in pain
He threw out his back
But he didn't hurt his brain
Bad Back Bill
He didn't take a spill
He hurt it bending over
Now he's taking pain pills
Woe is me Willy
In bed so he's not chilly
It hurts so much to move
He can't even pull his willy
His back's gone out
Now he can't move about
William Lane
And his back pain bout

I want to share the song I recorded for it but the only way I know to do it is tell you to go to ampslam dot you know what, and do a search for William Lane and then find the song "Make The First Move" it might be on their homepage.

Here you go William Lane. Don't say we never do anything for you.
William, what is your problem with apostrophes? And contractions of the words "you are"? Reading your lyrics makes me think less of you before even listening to your song, which is pleasant enough but not something I care to listen to more than once.

Welcome to Song Fight!

Awe come on now JB....After reading some of your post, I expected more out of you than the normal jealous reaction I get from most people when they are presented with my lyrical genius for the first time. "Isnt" it enough that I have a small penis and had a serious cock...ummm I mean back problem that prevented me from entering the contest?
It takes real "Commitment" & "Sacrifice" to put together such masterful pieces of musical entertainment for "Your" listening pleasure. Thanks for having me
