3/27/13- Breaking Up is Hard To Do

Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

3/27/13- Breaking Up is Hard To Do

Post by Niveous »

Happy World Theatre Day

QotD: Have you ever had a bad band breakup?

Bands are relationship like any other and sometimes they can go horribly awry. I have had 2 bad band breakups in my life. I'll fill in the story of one of them later in the thread.

Mostly my bands just fade away and I'm still friends with most of my old band mates. I was a little disappointed in the way my last band broke up as one member just started getting really flaky despite constantly reassuring us he was getting himself together. We could have played a final show and bowed out gracefully, but instead we just ran out of steam.

I've only been in one actual band that was a recurring thing and a lot of people here saw the final implosion on stage. It wasn't pretty.

Is it bad that I want details?

My last band didn't break up, but they kicked me out...

Oh wait, no, the story I went with was "Creative Differences." Never mind, nothing to see here... :P
