Pearl jam
Queens of the Stone Age.

Those are my most anticipated. But there are some other really cool ones too.

It's like an audible book, but taken orally instead of aurally.

I know! I'm really looking forward to the whole album. I saw it in SPIN and watched the their whole one hour set on the big screen yesterday. It's really good. http://youtu.be/b3tx1M8nxoU

Good choice having John Theodore join the band. His drumming is a perfect match. I honestly think he's a better fit with qotsa than Mars Volta.

Well I'm looking forward to that, now. Theodore is the nuts and that is indeed a good fit. However, I thought he kicked serious ass in the Mars Volta.

I don't think I have a good notification scheme for upcoming albums, rather I seem to be finding out about them when they come out.
Which is ok.

I started listening to songs from the Crow Soundtrack (see 4/2/13 thread) and wondered to myself what happened to the members of the band Medicine. I know they had broken up in the mid 90's. I did some research and found out, they got back together and released their first new single yesterday.

So, my answer to the QotD is Medicine's "To The Happy Few"

The album I was most looking forward to just came out a few weeks ago.

Watsky - Cardboard Castles

There's nothing I'm hugely excited about forthcoming anytime soon. At least, not that I'm aware of. I tend to find out about this kind of stuff late.

Nataly Dawn recently released "How I Knew Her" which I supported via KickStarter. I got it early but only listened to it last week before seeing her in NYC. Her solo stuff tends to be pretty folky and "sensitive" which is fine because she's a cute ass chick singer who plays a mean bass and knows fancy jazz chords on the guitar. And she's cute. Maybe after this little tour Pomplamoose will rock out again.
