But, everyone has a mom. Maybe one you talk to daily or dissociate yourself from. Maybe your mom is your best friend or has passed on to the great mom place in the sky....or where ever it is that people go. Maybe all of the above.
My mother passed away last August, but we had a great happy understanding with each other. She was funny and always looked on the bright side of things. If I was having a bad day, she'd say (in her German accent) as long as they keep making rocky road ice cream, there's always something to look forward to. She had the simplest out look on life and never took it for granted. I think the one thing I miss the most is her intentionally terrible sense of humor. She'd use her accent any time she could to squeeze in a bad pun. R.I.P. Mom.
QotD: Any plans with mom today? Phone call, going to brunch or a nice BBQ? What's the haps peeps?

My boys just took my wife to brunch at Rip Tide. A popular sushi seafood place here with bottomless mimosas. So I expect they will come home tipsy and ready for some wheel of fortune on the wii. I bought steaks and lobster tail for a bbq later. I didn't know the boys were taking her to Rip Tide before I bought them. So she'll be surf and turfed all day, yo. But that's her fav, so I can gar-on-tee she won't complain.
