I second Sex Bob-Omb. And BatP is a close second.

Not sure if The Lonely Island is considered a band or comedy troupe, but their songs are funny.

I consider Lonely Island, Spinal Tap, and BatP all full-fledged "real" bands, even if the first two are primarily purveyors of parody.

Actually, I 2nd this. I loved Jem as a kid and I even saw a few Eps earlier this year and enjoyed them just as much.
