.......let's eat the turkey in my big brown shoe.
Damn, my house smells of cinnamon and apples and roast beast. Every traditional turkey day dish is done and keeping warm until the laggy fam gets here. I'm in starvation limbo until 3:00pm and it's only 12:48 right now. What do, people!? What do?
edit: Yay, it's after 12 noon! I'm now indulging with a Jim Beam and coke. Expect my typing to get slurred in 6 to 8 hours.

Happy Turkey Day, Chrispy and others. Woo! Sadly, no turkey or family for me this year. Or is that a good thing. Hmm...
Bringin' the stink since 2006.

I wish you were closer, Charlie. I'd have invited you over for dinner.
I almost forgot to mention. I tried a new recipe this year for yams. Whiskey glazed sweet potatoes. I saw it on Guy's big bites and I like to try one new recipe every thanksgiving, so this is my new one this year.
I haven't served mine yet, so no pics. But here's the recipe. It has bourbon and apples in it!
