Nov. 28th, 2013 - Turkey for me, turkey for you.....

Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

.......let's eat the turkey in my big brown shoe. :D

Damn, my house smells of cinnamon and apples and roast beast. Every traditional turkey day dish is done and keeping warm until the laggy fam gets here. I'm in starvation limbo until 3:00pm and it's only 12:48 right now. What do, people!? What do? :geek:

edit: Yay, it's after 12 noon! I'm now indulging with a Jim Beam and coke. Expect my typing to get slurred in 6 to 8 hours.

Happy Turkey Day, Chrispy and others. Woo! Sadly, no turkey or family for me this year. Or is that a good thing. Hmm...
Bringin' the stink since 2006.

I wish you were closer, Charlie. I'd have invited you over for dinner.

I almost forgot to mention. I tried a new recipe this year for yams. Whiskey glazed sweet potatoes. I saw it on Guy's big bites and I like to try one new recipe every thanksgiving, so this is my new one this year.

I haven't served mine yet, so no pics. But here's the recipe. It has bourbon and apples in it! :D
