Sweetwater Sound, an Indiana business
There's shit happening in Indiana that really sucks. I've bought a bunch of stuff from Sweetwater but will not again until they make clear their disgust with recent legislation passed in their home state. I have no beef with their business itself so I hope they and thousands of other companies do the right thing.
There's an email form on their site with which I've sent this:
"Where do the owners of Sweetwater Sound stand regarding Indiana's recent "religious freedom" legislation? There's a whole lot of musicians who will happily take their business elsewhere if Sweetwater isn't anything but disgusted and vocal in its opposition."

Hey c'mon Roymond, you've got to respect other people's viewpoints. I mean for example, my religion forbids me from any kind of amiable interaction with people of non-Celtic descent, women, people with webbed fingers and/or toes, and anyone of any other religion. And you have to respect that.

My religion says I am required to shit down the throats of homophobes, so I can totally get behind this legislation (especially when the homophobes get behind me).

Here we go. The majority of America is sick and tired of the minority crazy wing christian conservatives imposing their biblical law on EVERYONE.
San Francisco mayor bans publicly-funded travel to Indiana
“San Francisco taxpayers will not subsidize legally-sanctioned discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people by the State of Indiana.”

The mayor of Seattle did the same thing. At least the signing of this law has had some silver lining, in that it's forced so many companies' hands on the discrimination matter.

And the people spoke. The Indiana "freedom for religion bill" has been reworked. Maybe our democracy actually does have a chance.
"I believe resolving this controversy and making clear that every person feels welcome and respected in our state is best for Indiana. The changes prohibit businesses from using the law as a defense in court for refusing to offer or provide services, facilities, use of public accommodations, goods, employment, or housing to any customers based on race, color, religion, ancestry, age, national origin, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or United States military service."

...and this is why I identify as a libertarian; I don't think government has a right to opine about anything in our personal lives that doesn't directly impinge on someone else's freedoms.
As user wrote, that's what is awesome about America. If you want to be a bigot, you can. If you want to run a business as a bigot, you can do that as well and then freely enjoy watching your business fail.
I don't believe in Affirmative Action, either. Don't think gay marriage can be "legalized" or "banned". I basically think government is worthless and just sucks at the ever present teat of the American taxpayer, so yeah, the RELIGIOUS FREEDOM ACT is just another stupid law that should never be.
You can't legislate morality. Don't try.
Someone needs to post reviews about Good Faith, and now!
