Ooh, really tough one. At one point a long time ago one of my older brothers got me a Led Zeppelin boxed set and I think I listened pretty much only to that for a solid year.
As far as acoustic songs of theirs go, I absolutely love "That's The Way".
For more electric songs, I love "When the Levee Breaks". The drums get me every time.

Me too! I've sampled single beats of those drums in probably about 90% of all my songfight entries.Lunkhead wrote:I love "When the Levee Breaks". The drums get me every time.

Re: 4/6/15 Led Zeppelin
There are a lot of really great tunes in the Led Zep catalog, but my favorite is "Fool in the Rain," head and shoulders above the rest. John Bonham's drumming, the way Jimmy Page's insane guitar work weaves around the syncopated shuffle... And then the abrupt genre switches! It's one of the few songs I literally never get tired of. It amazes and impresses me every time.

D'yer Mak'er and/or Misty Mountain Hop, just because those are the two that always come to mind when I think of Zeppelin. I'm not all that familiar with them though.

...this "pick only one" thing is hard, but with Zep it's NOT FAIR! **** you!
I'm also a big fan of Zep's most criticized and underrated album "Presence". I think it's some of their best work and some of the best songs ever in the history of rock. Yes, a pretty bold statement, but go listen to Tea for One, Achilles Last stand, Royal Orleans. Just amazing.

Re: 4/6/15 Led Zeppelin
There are not many bands I love more than the Beatles, but the Mighty Zep is one.
All time favorite has to be Over the Hills and Far Away, but I have listened to and played that song so many times, I just don't need to hear it again, but it is a go to jam for covers.
The Song Remains the Same is a contender. The Rover is a contender.
Today my favorite Zep is What is and What Should Never Be.
There is not a Led Zeppelin song I don't like.
@BLT- Yeah Presence is awesome, as well as Coda. In Through the Out Door is my least favorite, but it's still packed with gems.
EDIT: I take it back, I just listened to Over the Hills and Far Away, it's still magic!

Immigrant Song. I love the intro vocals and the way the whole thing runs you along with it.
