Alright, let's see.
Oh hey, I love the bold idea!
Right before I arrived here, I made an album-a-day,
Start With a Shower. It had
6 songs.
I started with the "Thank God For Memphis" fight and have entered every week since. Counting the current fight, that's
12 songs.
Right after my first fight, I recorded
1 song,
Ragfish Blues, for a project still in the works, tentatively called wikEPdia.
Starting with the "A Friendly Reminder" fight, a couple of other local goofs and I started a band called Blues Manufacturing Facility, simply to parody that Blues Train Blues Industry fellow. The thing kind of had a mind of it's own, and drifted into lo-fi blues-rock territory, and actually got some votes a couple of times. We submitted
7songs. We have not made any songs outside of SF. It is important to keep in mind our use of the "untrustworthy narrator" in our songs.
Also, in BMF's first fight, I made
1 song with Phil Wages, as Wages of Oats.
I wrote
8 songs for Andrew's 55-Minute Frenzies, 7 solo, one with Rock, Paper, Steve. To the best of my knowledge, my solo entries won once and tied for the win twice. The Rock, Paper, Steve song won by a unanimous vote. (I forgot to vote.)
I wrote two solo songs for SUK. The first one won. I also wrote, played on, and produced a song with the Knights of Griznacht. I acted as facilitator on another song of theirs that wasn't really a song. I'll count that as a total of
3.
At some point, I made another AAD,
The Epithetic Ferryman. It had
8songs.
I wrote
9 songs for the first Purple Reign Compilation, as Chopped Liver Meat God. I did another
4 for the next round, three as the Meat God, with help from Phil Wages on one of them, and another as Kick the Fat Kid, with Johnny Cashpoint.
I did
1 song with Rufus & Beauclerc for the short-lived LimboFight. If I'd have known then what I know now, it would have probably had a different name. It could come back, but the name would probably be different.
I did
2 songs for TuesdayFight! One of them was good and won. I also did
1 instrumental track for a EuroFrenzy. It wasn't great, but it's a song if I say it is.
I have quite a few other songs, but I'm not sure when I did them all. I'm pretty sure
2 of them were definitely 2007. A nice thing about SF is that it keeps track of when you did everything for you, so you don't have to.
Well, I think that's about it. If I've added correctly, that's
65. Not bad, I guess, considering I've only been really been actively songwriting since mid-August. Of course, I've also been involved in some top-secret projects, so the real number may be something closer to 81.
