Submit demo, definitely. Production demons be damned. Uh, not counting the Hip Cola, of course. He's awesome.

I'm back baby!!!!
Hello fellow songfighters,
It's been a while but I'm back! I broke my foot and had a week to kill, so... Expect an uber-circus-waltz-operetta titled "all skate." And it rocks!
Eat my dust songfighters, eat my dust!
Nice to be back
kisses
david
p.s. yes that is slide ukulele, and yes I did use a shot glass as a slide!

You've answered the two questions I generally have about a song before I hear it. Thanks.over wrote: p.s. yes that is slide ukulele, and yes I did use a shot glass as a slide!
Welcome back—and hope your wound heals smoothly.

Compared to what I've just posted - I'm sure it will sound as smooth as pure, pink silk caressing a fat man's buttocks.
(I've just re-visited the words and music I wrote last night - isn't alcohol wonderful!)

I look forward to hearing some old school tape hiss. A blessed change from all this digital cleanliness. Also, I always enjoy hearing your stuff.Kamakura wrote:I've written a 'Pink Skirt' and have recorded it as a demo (on cassette)

The hecticity of my life of late is keeping away from SF and it's starting to drive me crazy. I'm suffering withdrawals. This sucks.

Thanks. Warm fuzzies accepted.tonetripper wrote:I sure hope that you'll be in the ring again. I, too, miss the JoS awesomeness. Two words. Gert Lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You either meant "Get Lives" (rhymes with hives) like we should all get lives instead of hanging around SF all day, or you were referring to someone named "Gert" who is, according to you, still alive. Hmm....

The power of the rock what Gert done brought is rivalled only by the bioluminescence of the suits they wear whilst posing for the "ladies."
It will all become clear to you soon.

Uh, is Gert the one wearing the pink skirt? Because somehow that makes it EVEN sleazier in my books. And by sleazy I mean rockin'.deshead wrote:Gert, you filthy, filthy animal.

If anyone can guess the players in the picture, I've prepared a special prize for the first person to get it right
