It's true.. and EIGHT YEARS! He's gonna need a walker with tennis balls on the legs by the time his contract runs out.

We were gonna move to a house near where the race track, but not such a hot idea considering the busy-ness and the noise. Good luck on going to see it! The American race is so unbusy, I'd love to go. Speed channel over here showed it last year, and hopefully will this year, I'll have to check.

I forgot that some people think that driving cars around in circles is a sport.

Technically true, but there is no such thing in the NFL as a guaranteed contract. In reality, he signed a three year deal with the option of more, should he play well.

Just because drafting a QB first overall has the potential of failing (and has on occasions) does not make that a surefire rule. People like Brady are the exception, not the rule. Not every prized college QB is a Ryan Leaf or a Tim Couch (or a Vince Young, mark my words).

Long term deals for running backs are certainly a bad proposition in theory, but again, they're not genuine. Teams have all the power in the contract.

Please do not compare NASCAR and F1. I do not enjoy racing of any kind, but F1 has merit. NASCAR is the proper target of your ire.

Oh, Calgary won in game 6. Somehow, the ref and both linesmen managed to 'miss' the goal, though, and Tampon Bay went on to win in overtime, then game 7 as well.

Well, Sven, your favorite hockey team made what is probably the absolute worst blunder I've ever seen in hockey last night. Sheesh, that was awful. And too bad also since I'd hate to see Carolina win.

I couldn't believe it. When their coach was talking to the press he looked like he was going to cry. I don't blame him. Only reasons I would want Carolina to win:
1. Edmontonians would never let us Calgarians hear the end of it.
2. Commodore's on Carolina, and he's just awesome.
