SONGFIGHTERS! IT IS OUR DUTY TO RE-ASSOCIATE THE SUCKAGE THAT IS BARRY MANILOW WITH SOMETHING FRESH, AND NEW!

A daunting task, yes. But I intend to fight like a tiger in a tarpit on this one..maybe a losing battle...but one of the most challenging endeavors, she said, sinking...considering Sometimes When We Touch -SOMEONE HAS GOT TO ROCK THE COPA CABANA!

I'm in for I Was A Fool (To Let You Go), and possibly one other as-yet-unchosen cover.

Definitely. Even when Barry sang 'I Write The Songs', he didn't write that song. And of course the song I might do 'Could it Be Magic' is based on Frédéric Chopin's Prelude in C Minor....

You guys are awsome and should rip 'Mandy' to pieces.... :D

I have a first draft of my interrpretation of 'Bermuda triangle' and by my poor standards it don't sound too bad.

Also message for Jim, I can now host my song (if that means putting it up on a web-page and just e-mailing a link?!?)

I'm doing this, but may have a problem, it seems that the bloody stupid web-site I've set up to Host my song doesn't like remote linking, although it's not finished yet I could do with somebody checking to see whether it works... Jim??

Anyway I reckon there's a least 5 fighters having a go at Barry.

ChEEz!!

hopefully my ENT problems will be sorted by the weekend otherwise, I'm gonna have to go with the vocal as is...

Still my vocals are always great  (NOT!)

It looks like I'm also going to have to take j$ up on his kind offer, I've tried Geocities, Angelfire and Batcave, none of them let me direct link :x

Does anybody know of a free set up your own web-site thing that allows mp3 uploads and direct linking?? and doesnt require a degree in applied astro-physics (HTML should be HTMA... Hyper Tension My Arse!)

Free... yes I know I'm such a scrooge!

Don't know if I'm doing right or wrong, or if I'm stepping on anybody's toes at all, but here's a link to a possible artwork cover thing for this ManilowFight!...

Just found this. There may be a Mostess "Weekend in New England". Manilow is kind of a one-note Johnny, but it's a pretty smooth schtick. People love to hate him so much; sometimes I think everyone who disses him is a closet fan. Good idea for a fight.

Thank God for Tuesday and Wednesday. I am still in, as of yet, not begun the actual recording, but CAN DO and WILL DO.

Nice cover-art, sp00n.

Any time deadline for WED, or can we shove in as late as 5:00 p.m. EST?

Also - who wants to host my .mp3?

Thanks -
- Racine
