Think you can whip me up some drums before the deadline? I already submitted with a fake ass general midi drum loop, but the fightmasters might cooperate.Leaf wrote: So... wow. I'm not sure I'm gonna have anything in. I did get lyrics... I got an idea, I have no time.

I'm close to having this song done, but I'm not going to be able to finish it. I still need to do bass, drums, misc. stuff, not to mention mastering, emailing... 11 o'clock, tired, work tomorrow, etc.
I like this song a lot. I'm going to finish it anyway and post a link here when it's done, but it won't be in the fight.

Hey, guys, after a year's hiatus, I'm back! The other half of Pipefist didn't do anything on this song, so I'm just entering as Wes Davis. I just sent off my song, and I look forward to checking out the other submissions as soon as they're posted! I'm a little rusty for recording, though, so be kind. Or, conversely, be as rough as you can. I don't like my rape unless there's a little bleeding.

Once again, the Hand Puppets are OUT, but the least sensible quarter of the band is IN, slow-and-sappystyle.
I'm sorry, everybody. For some reason I just haven't been ready to rock
Sometimes you have to finish for the sake of finishing. This wasn't one of those times, but I finished it anyhow.

In as "Atonal Coil Bros." featuring bass by Billy's Little Trip, organ by Heuristics Inc, and suggestions by the Songfight nation.
I panned and set the levels last night, re-listened this morning. I think its a decent mix, but I'm looking for suggestions on improvement for my future mixing endeavors.
...and now for something completely coffee induced...
(in David Attenborough's voice) This song has undergone many changes to the guitar and to the melody, much like the caterpillar, Convalescence has fed and has begun to blossom into a butterfly. Perhaps it will soar about the Songfight plains sprinkling The Pixies dust on all who listen causing temporary insanity to ensue. This would result in masses of mammals voting.... Atonal Coil Bros. But only a few songs survive the harsh winter of reviews where many dangers lurk. Hard panning and off-key notes tend to negate the Pixies dust, while the occasional out-of-tempo chord sends all mammalian species packing. Yes, the young Convalescence must face many dangers to reach the coveted winner's circle. Will this be his shining moment? Only time will tell.
