nice roy. i wonder how many times you'll be heard saying "missed it by that much"

if you get sick of carrying that shoe around, you could always don some shades and double up as elwood blues. :)

as for me, i'm hoping to get over this flu bug i caught last night, which completely wiped me out today. as of 6pm, i've had absolutely nothing to eat today, and have probably slept another 8 hours over the course of the day.

the flu sucks. get a flu shot. seriously.

if i can muster the energy, i'll probably wander down to pacific avenue for the annual freak show that is downtown santa cruz.

happy halloween. post your pics!

Yes, but the flu shot does not protect against the stomach flu!

In any case, Roy and Jim those are both great costumes! I just donned a suit, tie, and demon mask and told the folks at the hospital that I was supposed to be a pharmaceutical rep.

(That's hospital administration humor, which probably doesn't translate into any other realm. Apologies.)

Oh, and tonight I think we're going to run around in the corn maze...

(The MAIZE! Get it?)

We don't get trick'rtreaters here... which is too bad. Later, depending on how exhausted we are, we might karaoke.

not necessarily! Get Smart was my favorite show as a kid and I haven't even made it out of my 20's yet. I'll be interested to see what Steve Carrell does with the character.

Damn, I cant believe how many trick or treaters we had this year. I bought tons of candy so that Id have tons of candy left over for myself. Its all gone! I estimate that we had around 100.
I carved a cool pirate ship pumpkin, had a a smoke machine going, scary sounds, strobe lights, an ass load of spiders from 5 ft to 5 inches, tomb stoners, and a bunch of other cool shiz. Drunk candy giving is awesome! :P

Phil made the Hulk costume and I threw together the mummy costume. We had a really fun time trick-or-treating. That's what I did last night, that and watch Kid Nation with Phil after the kids were in bed.

Exhausted after what was probably our biggest show yet. I wish I had just gotten the day off. I'm not hung over at all though, which is good...just extremely tired.

But where's your bag of thscok...chachk...assorted free crap with your company's logo plastered all over it? I really need to have another polarfleece hoodie with Glaxoglucosomethingorother® across the front in 296pt type

QOTD: First practice in too long. Loosened up, fucked around, had a good (but brief) time.

Halloween was a different one this year. This was my first Halloween in suburbia. The kids had Halloween parades at their respective schools and afterwards, they watched the Nightmare Before Christmas for the first time. Then instead of going out trick or treating, the kids wanted to stay on the porch and give out candy. That was cool because this was the first time we could really do that and have their friends come by. Eventually, Spiderman and Prince Edmund (T & M respectively) did go trick or treating and came back with a seriously big candy haul.
